Mike McStay and his team did an awesome job on my very complicated roof (mansard roof with aluminum shingles) after the March 2016 hail storm. I spoke with several other roofing companies and none had any interest due to the difficulty … More of the job. Most didn't even bother to provide a quote. Mike came by our house last year after we were hit by one of Texas' famous hail storms. Our home is only 4 years old, so it seemed crazy to us to even think about a new roof, but hail doesn't know which roof is new and which … More one isn't, so it's always best to check.
Mike gave it a once over and said that there was some damage he could see, and he could likely justify getting a new roof to the insurance company, but it wasn't absolutely necessary and he suggested we wait until we get hit again.
This made a lot of sense to us as we would have to pay the deductible regardless, and we'd rather not spend a few thousand dollars if we don't need to! There were other homes in the neighborhood that did get new roofs this year, but I'm glad I knew someone I could trust to give us an honest assessment of the situation and not just a hard sell. We will definitely reach out to Mike again when we get nailed by another hail event! -

Mike is the absolute best! A friend referred him to me and I could not be more pleased. I live out of state and Mike made everything so easy. The roof looks so good that I had neighbors in Texas reach out to me in Idaho to tell me how great the roof looks. And his pricing can’t be beat. This was by far the best contractor I have ever worked with and I highly recommend him.
